WE ARE HIRING FOR WINNIPEG BASED TERMINAL

JOB DUTIES:

• Load and unload goods;
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch;
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials;
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo;
• Oversee condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment;
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption;
• Perform preventive maintenance;
• Perform emergency roadside repairs

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Report Writing – Accident or incident reports;
• Trip reports;
• Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip);
• Driver logbook;
• Dangerous goods occurrence reports

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

• Completion of secondary school;
• Driver’s License (Class 1/A/1F);
• Air Brakes Endorsement;
• Clear Abstract;
• US Visa is a must;
• Valid work permit/PR

EXPERIENCE:

LMIA AVAILABLE ( CANDIDATE MUST BE PRESENT IN CANADA),

WORK SETTINGS:

• Physically demanding;
• Handling heavy loads;
• Repetitive tasks;
• Sitting for long hours

SALARY:

• 24/HR
