Westminster Foundation for Democracy WFD is looking for Administrative and Finance Assistant
Westminster Foundation for Democracy WFD is looking for an experienced Programme, Administrative and Finance Assistant based in Tunis, Tunisia to support the implementation of programmes in Algeria and Tunisia, as well as a regional programme on women inclusion.
Programme Administrative and Finance Assistant (PAFA) – Tunisia
Contract length: November 2021 – March 2022
Hours: Part Time 4 days per week
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract for Service
To ensure the programme is delivered with WFD’s good standard, high quality, and meet donors’ requirements, we are looking to recruit an experienced programme, finance administrator to support the project lead with the effective delivery of these programmes.
The core skills and experience we are looking for are;
- Financial management and budgetary experience
- Advanced Excel with extensive use of SAGE and/or other accounting software packages
- Strong communication relationship management skills with staff and a range of donors
- Excellent levels of spoken and written English
Good skills in payroll management
- First degree or similar, in a relevant discipline e.g. Business, Finance or Administration.
The PAFA plays a critical role in assisting the project lead working closely with the head office in London and our stakeholders, in the management of financial and administrative procedures for programmes.
In addition to taking responsibility for the financial management of programmes, general administrative and office management, the PAFA will assist with the logistic arrangements.
This is a locally based field role; applicants must be eligible to work in Tunisia
